Honda has unveiled its 2025 model year CRF series, featuring significant updates inspired by Team Honda HRC racers Jett and Hunter Lawrence. Say hello to the CRF450R, CRF450RWE, CRF250R, and the brand-spanking-new CRF250RWE. Let’s dive into the upgrades that’ll make you wish you had more garage space!

Chassis and Suspension Updates

The new CRF series boasts a frame with 70% new components, optimized for rigidity and handling. The new subframe mount point reduces lateral rigidity and minimizes energy transfer from the rear to the front.

A fresh fork system with kit-fork inspired Bending Control Valves, seals, and oil ensures consistent feel throughout the stroke while minimizing harsh feedback. The shock absorber, with a new spring, reservoir, shaft, and seals, provides a stroke feel that’s as smooth as butter. The linkage system has been updated to a single-piece structure for increased rigidity, enhancing tracking and stability. Plus, a new leverage ratio reduces squat while increasing bottoming resistance. No more excuses for bumpy rides!

Brake and Airbox Enhancements

The front brake caliper now features new pistons and seals for consistent performance, while the redesigned airbox provides a straighter airflow path, improving throttle response and top-end power. Now your bike can breathe as easy as you do!

Engine and Electronics Updates

Increased crank rigidity boosts mid-range torque. A redesigned muffler and header pipe ensure smoother, flatter acceleration. New ECU maps offer powerful torque and smooth power delivery, making your ride as effortless as a Sunday morning.

Design and Ergonomics

Redesigned body panels promote freedom of movement and provide wide contact points for gripping the bike. The rear shock can now be removed in half the time without needing access to the chassis. Efficiency at its finest!
