The second stage in Saudi Arabia smiled on the continent where the Dakar Rally came into being. Ross Branch won in the bike category to give Botswana its first victory on the rally, whilst Giniel de Villers gave South Africa reason to cheer with the 15th stage victory of his career.
Bike: ROSS BRANCH (BAS DAKAR KTM RACING TEAM) won the stage Al Wajh / Neom in front of SAM SUNDERLAND (RED BULL KTM FACTORY TEAM) and PABLO QUINTANILLA (ROCKSTAR ENERGY HUSQVARNA FACTORY RACING). SAM SUNDERLAND (RED BULL KTM FACTORY TEAM) is in the lead of the overall.
Quad: IGNACIO CASALE (CASALE RACING) won the stage Al Wajh / Neom in front of RAFAL SONIK (SONIK TEAM) and SIMON VITSE (# JE PEUX 2020-BBR MERCIER RACING). IGNACIO CASALE (CASALE RACING) is in the lead of the overall.
