Hiu Selatan #7 International Hard Enduro Heads to Kendal!

A thrilling off-road spectacle is set to hit Kendal, Central Java from July 4–6, 2025. The 7th Hiu Selatan International Hard Enduro will make its debut at Stadion Kebondalem and Sumberejo Village, just off the Kaliwungu exit on the Trans-Java Toll Road!

Global Lineup & Exciting Format

Competitors from 20 countries will race, with 32 international riders joining around 400+ local and national entrants .
Notable pros like Alfredo Gómez—who previously won the prologue in Cilacap—are expected again this year rieju.com.

The event will feature nine categories: International Pro/Am, National Pro/Am, 35+, 45+, Women, Junior, and a Local class .

This year’s route includes hill climbs, trail sections, and riverbeds, designed for both endurance and spectacular visuals

For the first time ever, the final will take place at night, promising a dramatic, head-to-head showdown under lights!

Kendal was strategically chosen due to its excellent access via Trans-Java Toll. This makes it simple for riders and fans from Central Java, East Java, West Java, and beyond to attend!

The move also aims to amplify sport tourism, showcase local SMEs, and boost the region’s economy through an event bigger than any previous edition.

What the Organizers Say

According to Coordinator Lau Aguan, the track is nearly 100% ready, with just banners, tents, and final touches remaining .
He emphasized the event’s impact:

“This year’s final at night for the first time… It’s not just a race—it attracts thousands: racers, tech crews, families, local spectators. Huge potential and local income.”
He also called for more government support, stressing that hard enduro draws significantly more participants than motocross or MotoGP, yet receives less attention.
