Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Manuel Lettenbichler has etched his name deeper into Hard Enduro history by claiming his sixth career victory at the 2025 Red Bull Romaniacs. After four grueling days across the rugged Carpathian Mountains, the German rider delivered a near-flawless performance aboard his KTM 300 EXC.
This year’s event kicked off with the traditional SuperEnduro-style prologue in Sibiu, where Mani placed third, securing pole position for the first off-road day. He quickly set the tone by dominating Offroad Day 1, finishing nearly seven minutes ahead of his closest rival.
Offroad Day 2, the first half of the marathon stage, tested both rider and machine under strict no-assistance rules. Lettenbichler rode with surgical precision, navigating gnarly forest descents and steep climbs to claim his second stage win and widen the gap in the overall standings.
On Day 3, a fierce duel with Billy Bolt unfolded. Despite losing the stage to Bolt by just over three minutes, Mani maintained composure and retained his overall lead heading into the final showdown.
The last day was no less dramatic, featuring 102 kilometers of signature Romaniacs terrain — including the iconic final hillclimb. Lettenbichler once again rose to the challenge, powering to his third stage win of the week and securing the overall title.
Lettenbichler’s 6th Romaniacs Title:
“This feels unreal,” Lettenbichler shared. “I had some doubts coming into the week because I couldn’t train as much as I wanted. The pressure was real, and the heat made it even tougher. But I managed to stay consistent, take the lead early, and keep it all the way to the end. This was one of the hardest Romaniacs I’ve ridden – and I’ll be back to chase Graham’s record next year!”
With this victory, Lettenbichler inches closer to equaling Graham Jarvis’s legendary record of seven Romaniacs titles. His next challenge will be at Red Bull Tennessee Knockout, scheduled for August 8–10 in the United States.
